About Your Photographer

After many years of being a serious amateur photographer, Randy turned full-time professional in 1984. In 1992 after several years of working for other people and other studios, Randy and his wife Teresa opened their own studio "The IMAGE Gallery" in Gallipolis, Ohio.

Since that time "The IMAGE Gallery" has come to be the area’sonly full-time, full-service, national award winning portrait studio.

Over the years Randy has traveled far and wide to study and work with some of the country's best photographers. He has also studied at “Winona” (the Professional Photographers of America's International School of Photography), as well as attending numerous different classes and seminars each year, in order to stay current on all the latest, most popular photographic trends. In April of 1996, Randy also began teaching other photographers the art and business of photography.

Randy has also won many state, regional and national awards for photographic excellence. In 1994 and 1995 he received the "Out of State Best of Show Award" at the Professional Photographers of West Virginia State convention. This past spring at the Professional Photographers of Ohio Mid-East States Convention, Randy was chosen one of Ohio’s Top 10 Photographers for the fourth time in his career. Randy has also won 3 "Court of Honor Awards" along with several other major state trophies. In national competition Randy has won over 25 Proffesional Photographers of America National Merit Awards for his portrait work.
